We're gonna say this again for the people in the back who didn't hear us the first time......DO NOT EMAIL YOUR TAX DOCUMENTS TO ANYONE IN THE OFFICE!

1) Our emails are NOT secure which puts you at serious risk of fraud and identity theft
2) We have a secure portal service we can get you access to so you CAN send your documents to us SAFELY and SECURELY
3) Mike's inbox is where things go to die. It is a black hole. It is an endless abyss of things ignored and forgotten. DO NOT EMAIL YOUR STUFF TO MIKE!

So I’m curious. Who is For the additional 1.25 % tax that Fairfield School district is is trying to add?

The vote is in May 2026 in case you did not know.

I am not sure if this tax affects individuals that work in Fairfield but do NOT live there.

Any thoughts ?

5. If you want to chat about things with Mike or Daniel then **make an appointment. ** Don’t drop in randomly and expect us to have 30 minutes to shoot the breeze and comb through all your paperwork with you. If your situation is straight forward and you have no questions, then absolutely drop your stuff off to Melissa at the front desk and be on your way! If it’s after hours you can also drop them off in the black mailbox right outside the front door

-ALSO-

As of 1/1/26 we will **NOT** be filing completed returns until your bill is paid in full. Can you walk out of Walmart with a cart full of groceries and say I'll get it to you later? No, so why would you think you can do that here? It's cold outside and if the electric bill doesn't get paid the employees have threatened to revolt.

We also will be implementing a 3% processing fee for all credit card transactions. Rising costs are hitting everyone everywhere and sadly we are no different. Thanks for all your understanding!

Forgot about Wednesday's tip....my bad lol
So Thursday is two tip day? That doesn't rhyme....ok I got nothin' 🤦‍♀️

3. Only bring the **NECESSARY** documents to your appointment. As in official tax forms.....
• Not your year-end statements
• Not your bank statements
• Not your kids SAT scores
• Not coupons
• Not prescriptions
• Yes, people have brought those last 3 things before

When in doubt call the office and ask us, 'Hey do I need this?'

4. Absolutely do **NOT** email or text your documents directly to anyone in the office (especially not Mike! The abyss of his inbox is endless)
• Use our secure portal to send your documents to us electronically.
