Here’s what’s driving that:

• Longer life expectancy (extended payout timelines)
• Increased health risks across the population
• Economic and interest rate shifts

Translation: waiting is becoming more expensive.

One of the biggest misconceptions I see is:

✔️ The IRS does NOT decide offsets.
✔️ The Treasury Offset Program (TOP) intercepts refunds.
✔️ The offset hotline only shows what’s on file at the time you call.

Some won’t walk under ladders 🪜
Some blame Friday the 13th for “bad luck” 😅

But when it comes to finances?
The real superstition I see (especially with high-earning professionals) is this:
“If I’m making good money, everything else must be fine.” 📈✨
