We are excited to introduce Katy, who has joined the B&A team as a Senior Accountant!

Katy is a native of Farmington and graduate of Farmington High School. Katy attended the University of Missouri – Columbia, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After graduation, Katy spent nearly 13 years in public accounting, working with clients across a variety of industries. There she provided services including tax preparation and auditing. Her main emphasis during her time in public accounting was in Governmental and Not-for-Profit Accounting.

Prior to joining Boyd & Associates, Katy served as Controller for a higher education institution. In this role, she was responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and providing timely financial reporting.

Katy resides in Farmington with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, camping, reading and spending time with friends and family.

We couldn't be more excited to have Katy join the B&A family! Her extensive experience, diverse accounting background, and commitment to serving clients make her a wonderful addition to our growing team. We look forward to the knowledge, perspective, and talents she brings to our firm as we continue to grow and serve our clients and community.

We’re excited to officially introduce Christina McCarthy, Administrative Assistant, as part of the Boyd & Associates team! 💙

Christina has quickly become a valued part of our office, helping keep things running smoothly while providing the friendly, dependable service our clients have come to expect from B&A.

Christina McCarthy joined our team in 2026 as an Administrative Assistant at Boyd & Associates, where she supports the firm’s daily operations and helps ensure clients receive friendly, professional, and efficient services. She assists with client communications, document preparation and organization, scheduling and a variety of administrative tasks that help keep the office running smoothly. Prior to joining Boyd & Associates, she built a long career with the Missouri Department of Corrections, ultimately serving as a District Administrator. After retiring from state service, Christina brought her skills and commitment of helping others to the Boyd & Associates team.

Christina and her husband Mike have lived in Farmington for many years where they raised their four children: Tim, Matthew, Nathan, and Josh. Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time with family and friends and especially treasures time with her grandson, Brody. She also loves supporting her son, Josh, in football and track, with much of her free time spent cheering him on from the sidelines and traveling for football. She is excited to watch Josh continue his football career at Iowa State University next year and looks forward to making many more memories with her family.

Jamie brings 20 years of banking experience to Boyd and Associates CPA, with a well-rounded background working in multiple areas of banking, including Human Resources. Her years of experience have given her a strong understanding of financial services, a dedication to helping others, and an appreciation for the importance of accuracy and personal service.

Family and community are at the heart of Jamie’s life. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Wayne, for 22 years, and together they have raised four children. Jamie treasures the time she gets to spend with her family and is happiest when they are together making memories.

Outside of work, Jamie enjoys camping, spending time with her family, and helping run the family farm. She also has a strong commitment to her community and has been involved with the Fredericktown Azalea Festival for 23 years, proudly giving her time and energy to an event that brings the community together year after year.

Jamie is excited to be part of the Boyd and Associates CPA team and looks forward to building relationships with clients while providing dependable, caring service. Her years of experience, strong work ethic, and genuine love for people make her a valued member of the team
