We are excited to announce that Bellmore’s Tax Specialists and Barnett Tax Group, LLC have merged and will now be operating as Barnett & Bellmore’s Tax Specialists. We sent a notice to all our client's in our annual mail out that hopefully you received.

Your current tax services, records, and our location remain unchanged. Jim and the team you know, and trust are here to continue taking care of your tax and accounting needs.

As a result of our merger, I would like to introduce Neil Bosner, CPA that has joined us.

It's that time of year again: Tax season is here.
Our new address and location is 6060 Torrey Road, Flint, Michigan.

Office hours starting January 26th, 2026, will be Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., and there will be someone available during lunch.
We are taking in-office appointments. We are also offering clients phone appointments (an appointment is still required, and we require your tax documents at least 2 weeks prior to the phone appointment).
Drop-off is also available during office hours.
We also have a drop box in the back of the building by our back door (the door is labeled "Bellmore's Tax, Suite B") for after-hours drop-offs.

We would like to inform our clients of the below Information from the IRS regarding the phase out of paper tax refund checks. Please click on the link below to view the upcoming changes to receiving refunds.

IR-2025-94, Sept. 23, 2025 — The Internal Revenue Service, working with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, today announced that paper tax refund checks for individual taxpayers will be phased out beginning on Sept. 30, 2025, as required by Executive Order 14247, to the extent permitted by law.

We would like to thank all of our clients for a successful 2024 tax season. Your business is so appreciated by all of us at Bellmore's Tax Specialist. Now that tax season has come to an end, our office hours are changing.

Effective April 18th, 2025 we will no longer be open on Fridays. Our office hours effective April 21st, 2025 will be Monday - Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Comcast Business will be working to enhance the network near 6060 TORREY RD STE B within a week, On 03/25. Work could begin as early as 6am local time. During this time, we will experience service outages. They anticipate completing the work today. We have transferred our phones to the office cell. The FinCen BOI has been reinstated and the deadline for filing your FinCen BOI is now March 21st, 2025. If you have not completed your BOI filing, there are stiff penalties that would be applied for each day you are late. This is a one time required filing you must complete. We did send an email to all our clients to whom own a business regarding this in December 2024. If you have any questions regarding the BOI FinCen Filing, please feel free to contact us at (810) 230-8885.
