Ok, y'all, we are moving to a new system for your safety as well as ours. We are no longer seeing customers face-to-face. You can drop things off at our office, and if you want to wait, you are welcome to do so in your car. We will discuss everything via the phone.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the IRS payment deadline for taxpayers who owe money has been extended to July 15th. If you are expecting a refund, however, you are still required to file by April 15th. Should this change, we will update y'all. We are still open but are filing extensions for free and encourage everybody to communicate with us via email, phone, Facebook, etc. as much as possible. Should we close in the coming days, we will let y'all know asap. Thank you for your understanding.

We want to update our valued customers on the coronavirus. We ask that you stay home if you are feeling unwell, and especially if you have traveled to an area with active community-spread coronavirus cases, which now includes several areas of Texas. We will file extensions for free for anybody who stays home to protect others. While we are still open to the public, Bill and Delsa and many of our customers are considered high-risk so we are encouraging everybody to email or fax documents and conduct business remotely or via phone if possible. If you are well, you can choose to drop off your documents and we can call you with any questions, or at this time you can still come in person. We ask all customers visiting the office to use the hand sanitizing station in the lobby and maintain distance between other people. We are sanitizing frequently and not shaking hands to be mindful of the community. Thank you for your caution and understanding, and we will update y'all should our policies change. Monday is a holiday for a lot of people and we'll be open to serve you! On Jan. 20th, Budget Tax resumes its normal business hours: Monday-Friday 9-6, Saturday 10-2, and Sunday by appointment. Bring in your W2s and other documents and we'll be happy to do your taxes!

While "Tax Day" on April the 15th gets all the attention, we'd like to remind our clients who filed extensions that we're quickly approaching that OTHER deadline: October 15th! Call us with any questions or to schedule an appointment.

Now that Tax Day has come and gone, we want to thank all of our customers for another great year! We loved meeting a lot of new faces and catching up with our longtime clients and friends. We're glad that so many of you enjoyed working with our daughter as she learns the business. If we filed an extension for you, we'll be calling you to set up an appointment soon. Take advantage of this rainy day and come in to get your taxes filed! We're open until at least 2 pm and will likely be here much later. There's a mobile vet clinic happening in our parking lot today, so a lot of the cars are waiting on that. We currently have no wait!

A reminder that the deadline to file your taxes is quickly approaching: this Monday, April 15th! So if you haven't come in yet, stop by to see us during the week from 9 to 6 and Saturday from 10 to 2. We have three people preparing taxes this year, so wait times have been much shorter.
