Why No Federal Taxes Are Coming Out of Paychecks 👀???

Many ppl are noticing little to no federal taxes being withheld from their paychecks.. & no, it’s not a mistake.

Here’s why:
🖤 The new W-4 form calculates taxes based on credits & deductions
💛Child Tax Credit, Head of Household, & the higher standard deduction can reduce or eliminate withholding
🤍Payroll systems assume your W-4 is 100% accurate & that you won’t owe

This often means:
➡️ Bigger paychecks during the year
➡️ Smaller refunds… or a balance due… at tax time

⚠️ Important:
No federal taxes withheld does NOT always mean no taxes owed.

If you have:
• Multiple jobs
• Side income / 1099s
• Overtime
• A working spouse

You may still owe when you file.

On the other hand… some of you jokers are checking that exempt box 😩😩😂🤍

I Encourage my clients to:
🖤Review their W-4 annually
💛 Add extra withholding if needed
🤍 Especially if they want a refund or have side income.

🚨 PATH Act Refund Update – 2026 Tax Season 🚨

Tax season opens today, Monday, January 26, 2026 🗓️

If you’re claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC), there’s a mandatory timeline you need to be aware of to avoid confusion or frustration.

📌 Important Dates to Know:

• January 26 – The IRS begins accepting and processing tax returns
(Some returns may show as accepted earlier due to IRS hub testing.)

• February 15 – By federal law (PATH Act), the IRS cannot release refunds for EITC/ACTC filers before this date.

• February 25 – Estimated date the first wave of PATH Act refunds may begin hitting bank accounts for early filers who chose direct deposit 💸

🧾 The PATH Act Applies To Returns Claiming:

• Earned Income Credit (EIC)
• Child Tax Credit (CTC / ACTC)

⚠️ No exceptions — this is federal law.
