TRUMP ACCOUNT UPDATE

As a reminder, Trump accounts come on line 7/4/26 and babies born in 2025 and 2026 who have an account set up, will receive the $1,000 pilot program contribution.

Additionally, Michael and Susan Dell (Dell Computers) have committed $6.25 billion to Trump accounts for children age 10 or under and born before 1/1/25. For these children who have a Trump account set up, Dell will make a $250 contribution to this account, no strings attached. Child must live in a zip code where the median income is less than $150,000. All 82 Mississippi Counties qualify, so all MS children under the age of 10 and born before 1/1/25 can receive the $250 if they have a Trump account set up.

You can establish a Trump account online or with the filing of your return (if not already filed). For new applications and returns already filed, you will receive an email from [email protected] to set up and begin funding the account.

Mississippi Business Owners, beware of scammers looking to capitalize on the upcoming April 15, 2026 deadline for filing Annual Reports. If you receive any correspondence on the Annual Reports, it is crucial to make sure the e-mail is from the Mississippi Secretary of State Office (or any state this may apply to, for that matter). Check the e-mail address and look for any identifying imagery or specific language that points to it being official correspondence from the Secretary of State Office before doing anything.
