It’s not every day you get to celebrate 250 years of America! 🇺🇸

Yesterday, our team kicked off the holiday spirit a little early with a 4th of July potluck lunch filled with hot dogs, sloppy joes, potato salad, festive sweets, and plenty of red, white, and blue. We’re grateful for moments like these to gather, celebrate, and enjoy time together as a team.

Through Numbers 20 and Hosea 2:14, CZ painted a picture of how we may see the wilderness, as a barren, heavy, and uncomfortable place — much like the seasons of life we may not choose for ourselves. But while we may not be naturally drawn to the wilderness, it can often become the place where distractions are removed, clarity is found, and we are invited to hear God more closely.

Whether we find ourselves in a season that feels joyful, difficult, quiet, or uncertain, CZ reminded us that our circumstances can shape the way we listen, feel, and connect with God. And sometimes, the wilderness is not a place of absence, but a place where God is speaking tenderly, inviting us to slow down and truly hear Him. ✝️

This past Sunday, Pete had the honor of speaking at Church of the City - Franklin on Father’s Day. ✝️

In his message, “Light & Legacy,” Pete reflected on the lasting influence of those who have gone before us and challenged us to consider what our words, priorities, and daily choices will matter 25, 50, or even 100 years from now. On a day dedicated to celebrating fathers and father figures, his message was a meaningful reminder that legacy is built through the light we share, the faith we live out, and the impact we leave in the lives of those around us.
