Retirement is often viewed as a finish line. But perhaps it is better understood as a new chapter, one that deserves just as much intention as the years that came before it.
For this edition of The Verse & The Plan, Alfred Lord Tennyson offers a reminder:
“To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.”
A fulfilling retirement is about more than having the financial resources to step away from work. It is also about deciding what you are stepping toward.
Community. Purpose. Relationships. New experiences. More time spent doing the things you love with the people you love.
Financial planning can help prepare you for retirement.
Intentionality can help you make something meaningful of it.
Because the goal is not simply to retire. It is to continue living well.
