Introducing our panelist, Scott McCaskill!

Scott is the President and Founder of McCaskill Financial, a full-service financial planning and investment management firm located in downtown Frederick, Maryland. Scott also serves as the firm’s primary Certified Financial Planner, bringing over 25 years of experience to the role.

McCaskill Financial has been voted the “Best of Frederick” for the last 15 consecutive years, and Scott is also recognized as the “voice of finance” with his daily “Closing Bell – Market Report” on 930 WFMD radio, while also being quoted by Bloomberg, Reuters, the Daily Record and has presented at the CFP Board Financial Planning Conference and the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.

In his spare time, Scott and his wife Heidi believe in giving back to the community through various nonprofit and philanthropic efforts. Scott currently serves as the President for Habitat for Humanity of Frederick County, Vice-President of Platoon22 and Treasurer for the Frederick County Mental Health Association.

Scott is also a graduate of Leadership Frederick, and has undergone development through Maryland Nonprofits, while also serving on the City of Frederick Trust Investment Committee.

Platoon 22 is proud to partner with Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service and the Low Income Taxpayer Clinics to bring you an important Tax Workshop designed to educate and empower.

This workshop gives you the opportunity to meet directly with tax experts and learn critical information such as:
✔️ Who needs to file
✔️ Valuable tax credits you may qualify for
✔️ How to file for free
✔️ Avoiding tax scams
✔️ When and how to contact the IRS and MD Comptroller
✔️ Collection rules
✔️ Your rights as a taxpayer

It's here....Giving Tuesday 2025! We are raising funds to help us with various projects that will enable us to better serve our community while executing our mission of safe and affordable housing. Technology provides mission critical tools to work with donors, volunteers, and homeowners. We are in need of some upgrades.
