From intern to full-time. We’re happy to welcome back Benjamin Pfaff back to the team. 👏👏 After interning with us last year while finishing school, he has now graduated and joined the firm as a full-time team member.

There’s no better way to get to know our community than by experiencing it together. Our 2026 interns spent part of the day exploring Downtown Frederick, meeting some of the incredible people and businesses that help make it such a vibrant place to live and work.

A huge thank you to Downtown Frederick Partnership and Leeann Crews for kicking off our tour with an inside look at the organization’s history and the important role it plays in supporting our local community. We loved learning more about one of our valued clients!

From there, we enjoyed stops at Dancing Bear, Twin Bears Bakery, and a behind-the-scenes tour and delicious lunch at Brewer’s Alley, courtesy of Greg Brown.

We’re excited to have these talented interns on board this summer and can’t wait to see all they’ll accomplish. Thanks to all of our local partners for making the day so memorable! 💙

A big thank you to our 401(k) plan advisor, Doug O’Rear, and SageView Advisory Group for arranging a terrific visit to Vanguard!

This was a refreshing change from our usual quarterly due diligence meetings and a valuable educational opportunity for our 401(k) Committee. As a CPA firm that performs qualified retirement plan audits, our audit team gained insights that will help us better serve both LSWG as a plan sponsor and our retirement plan audit clients.

We’re grateful to the Vanguard team for their hospitality, thoughtful presentations, and willingness to share their expertise. It was an informative and enjoyable experience.
