We have a few celebratory posts to share over the next week, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our team and students who have been part of our journey. 🎓

Huge congratulations to Christian on graduating from the University of Virginia McIntire School of Commerce this month!

Christian joined us during tax season as an intern and quickly became such a valued part of the team. From supporting behind the scenes during busy weeks to always being willing to jump in where needed, we’re incredibly grateful for the work, positivity, and dedication he brought to FXBG Accounting & Advisory this season.

As this chapter comes to a close, we’re also excited to celebrate what’s ahead. Christian will begin his new role as a Financial Analyst at Capital One this July, and we know he has an incredibly bright future ahead of him.

Congratulations again, Christian! We’re so proud of you and thankful you were part of our team this tax season. ✨

Big congratulations to our Vice President, Rebecca Maher, CPA, on graduating from Leadership Fredericksburg through the 🎉

Over the last nine months, Rebecca has dedicated her time to growing as a leader, building meaningful relationships, and gaining a deeper understanding of the people, organizations, and issues that shape our community. Leadership Fredericksburg is known for developing leaders who create real impact, and watching Rebecca be part of this experience has been incredibly special.

What makes this accomplishment even more meaningful is how naturally leadership reflects who Rebecca already is. The way she supports others, leads with intention, shows up for her team, and pours into both our organization and community every single day is something we are endlessly grateful for.

This program brings together professionals from all different industries and backgrounds to learn, collaborate, and challenge one another to think bigger about the future of Fredericksburg. We know Rebecca will continue carrying everything she learned throughout this experience into the work she does and the people she impacts moving forward.

Tax season frustrations? Consider them officially taken out at FXBG Axes 🪓

Last Friday, part of our team got together for a little post-tax season stress relief, team time, and way too much fun throwing axes together. After a busy season of deadlines, numbers, and long hours, it was nice to step away from the screens and spend time together outside the office.

A few of our remote team members couldn’t make it this time, but don’t worry, we’ll be celebrating with them soon too.

Grateful for a team that works hard, supports each other, and still knows how to have fun together.

Today we’re saying goodbye (for now) to Elizabeth, one of our administrative assistants ✨

Since 2019, she’s been such a meaningful part of our team. From keeping things running behind the scenes to showing up every day with care for both our team and our clients, she’s played a role in so much of what happens here.

Elizabeth also grew up around this brand… she’s seen it evolve, shift, and grow over the years, and has been part of that journey in a way that’s really special. There are so many things that happen behind the scenes that people never see, and she’s been a steady part of it all.

As she heads to Illinois to be with her partner and continue her studies, we’re so excited for her and everything ahead… but she will absolutely be missed here.

Elizabeth, thank you for the time, the energy, and the heart you’ve poured into this place. You’ve made a lasting impact, and we’re so grateful for you.

Wishing you nothing but the best in this next chapter!
