Accidents happen, right? 🤷‍♀️

I see and hear so many bookkeepers and accountants judge small business owners for doing these things. The thing is, we are all human and all make mistakes, me included (I know, that’s hard to imagine, right?🤣)

It is more important to course correct rather than dwell on the mistake. If you used your biz card for personal expenses. It’s okay. Don’t make it a habit, and just be sure to categorize the transactions correctly.

You forgot to reconcile? Darn, you must have been super busy last month! Find some time this month to get caught up, and review your numbers.

You accidentally missed an estimated tax payment? Ouch, that is gonna hurt, but it will be okay!

See where I’m going? Focus on how you can correct your mistake and move forward.

Let this be your reminder to give yourself grace and just try the best you can. At the end of the day, that is the best you can do!
