As the year draws to a close, all of us at JMA want to pause and reflect with gratitude.

This past year brought growth, challenges, and meaningful progress—and we couldn’t have done it without the trust, collaboration, and support of our clients, partners, and community. Every conversation, project, and relationship has helped shape a year we’re proud of, and we’re thankful for the opportunity to do work that matters.

The holiday season is a time to slow down, reconnect, and recharge. In that spirit, our office will be closed December 24, 25, 26, and 31, as well as January 1 and 2, so our team can spend time with family and loved ones and return refreshed for the year ahead.

Are you an accounting professional looking to grow in a supportive, team-focused environment? Johnson, Mackowiak & Associates, LLP is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join our Fredonia office!
🕒 Schedule:
• Monday–Thursday: 7.5-hour workdays
• Fridays: Half days (May–December)
• Overtime required January–April

💼 What You’ll Do:
• Prepare personal and business tax returns
• Prepare and analyze financial statements
• Assist with non-profit audits and related filings
• Support estate planning and income tax returns
• Participate in special projects as needed
• Consult with clients and provide accounting support
• Governmental Accounting & Auditing

🎓 Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA certification obtained or in progress preferred
• 2–5 years of accounting experience a plus
• Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting software
