This morning, some of our SGL team had the opportunity to spend time at The Georgia Mountain Food Bank, learning more about the incredible work they do right here in our community.

We’re grateful for the chance to better understand the needs around us and discover more ways we can serve, support, and make an impact in the community we’re proud to call home.

The work happening at the food bank reaches far beyond providing meals. It helps strengthen families, support neighbors, and make a meaningful difference for so many right here in our community.

Thank you to The Georgia Mountain Food Bank for welcoming us, educating us, and reminding us just how powerful it can be when a community comes together. 💙

Last night, some of our SGL team took some time to unwind at Decoy here in Gainesville, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to celebrate the incredible people who make this team what it is. Every day, they show up with dedication, hard work, and a commitment to serving our clients and supporting one another.

We’re thankful for a team that feels more like family, and for moments like these that remind us how important it is to step away, have some fun, and enjoy the company of the people we work alongside every day.

Our SGL team had the opportunity to give back in a simple but meaningful way this week— by donating a big stack of newspapers to our local humane society 🐾

It may seem like a small gesture, but these donations go a long way in helping care for the animals while they wait for their forever homes. We’re always grateful for the chance to support organizations in our community that do such important work every day.

If you’ve got old newspapers lying around, consider dropping them off!

🌟 Summer Intern Spotlight 🌟

We’re excited to introduce our summer interns!

Our first summer intern, Davis, is currently attending Berry College, where he is majoring in Business Management and minoring in Entrepreneurship. With a goal of growing his own business and pursuing an administrative career, Davis is already taking initiative — he launched his company, Fat Head Hats, in January, creating custom hats designed specifically for individuals who need a better fit. We love that entrepreneurial drive!

Second, we have Will! Will is a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in Finance. He brings a passion for the outdoors and a love for travel, along with a clear goal of becoming a financial advisor in the future. We’re excited to have him gaining hands on experience here at the firm as he works toward that path.
