Let’s Go!
Covid fatigue—People are ready (busting) to get out and enjoy all the activities they have suppressed for the past year. Bonding with friends, dining indoors, listening to music, shopping in person. “Let’s Go!” is our Mantra for 2021.
Are you ready to take advantage of this energy? When they decide to go, are you on the latest ‘desirable’ list?
Make sure you are ready-
• Planning for more customers coming in the door? It may be time to refresh your staff on the basics.
• How are you welcoming them back (show your appreciation-we are thirsty for interaction)
• Maybe it’s a first time experience, so create a great impression. Talk to them, “Welcome”, “Thanks” and “Come again” as they depart. Your goal is to form a bond above and beyond the competition.
Let’s face it, there has been a great deal of disruption and confusion over the past year. Who is open, in what form, did they change their hours?
• The first step of sales generation is AWARENESS. How are you communicating your offers to potential customers? New hours? Special offers? How about some Spring Events – make your business bloom!
• WOW them. Make sure your staff realizes how important it is to go the extra mile to impress your customers (grow your market share). Create an offer for return visits and/or share with a friend. Ask for reco’s to your social media accounts.
• Communicate the offer and leverage the visit with a hand out that also has a QR code for your social media. Keep growing your community. Accelerate the branding with your social accounts.
This is a time of OPPORTUNITIES! The emergence from staying home, stimulus checks and warmer weather combine to feed accelerating spending. Now it the time to harvest your opportunity grow sales, profits and build your market share.
