"I'm here to tell y'all, this is gonna be some mighty fine eatin" He's talking about our Chicken BBQ, coming up this Sunday, June 13th. Serving starts at 11 am - Drive-Thru only. One change we are making is that we will only be serving 1/2 chicken dinners, no children's portions (if your kids don't eat it all, there's more for you!). Can't wait to see you! Volunteering and being apart of amazing organizations is one of my greatest passions. I had an absolutely amazing time earlier this month during The Biggest Week In American Birding thanks to Maumee Bay State Park Lodge Lindsey Volunteer Fire Department Eagle Optics and Black Swamp Bird Observatory.

Attached is a picture of Chief John Zimmerman & Deputy Chief Jason Conklin at the opening ceremonies for the Biggest Week in American Birding at the Maumee Bay Lodge. During the ceremony, they accepted the binoculars that were donated by Eagle Optics. Binoculars are used in the Fire Service to be able to stay at a safe distance when approaching a hazardous situation to be able to assess what we're dealing with. A huge THANK YOU to Eagle Optics!
