🚜 Kentucky Farmers: Be on the lookout for Form 51A801!

The Kentucky Department of Revenue is sending out Form 51A801 (09-25) for Agriculture Exemption Number renewals.

Current Agriculture Exemption Numbers expire December 31, 2026. Completing the renewal early can help prevent an interruption in your ability to make qualifying tax-exempt farm purchases.

Use the checklist in the graphic to make sure you have everything needed—and remember to keep your MyTaxes PIN secure.

📬 Be on the lookout for an important letter from the Kentucky Department of Revenue!

If you receive a letter containing a MyTaxes.ky.gov Portal Personal Identification Number (PIN), follow the steps listed in the graphic.

🔐 Important: Your PIN is private and should be protected like your Social Security number. Do not post, text, email or share a photo of your PIN letter.

This may look like an ordinary piece of mail, but don’t throw it away or set it aside! If you are a Lockshield client, please upload the letter directly to your secure client portal so we can assist you.

Today, we’re saying goodbye to Tate Spillman as he wraps up his 9-month internship with Lockshield Partners.

Over the past several months, Tate has been a valued part of our Client Services team, working alongside Hallie and growing tremendously in both confidence and ability. His willingness to learn and positive attitude have made a lasting impact on our team.

Tate is pursuing a degree in Economics with a minor in Accounting at Western Kentucky University and we have no doubt he will go on to do great things!

Thank you, Tate, for all of your hard work over the past nine months. We’re proud of everything you’ve accomplished and can't wait to see where your journey takes you.
