Founded in July, 1975 by Mark A. Sheptoff, CPA and John C. Reuber, CPA, SRC Certified Public Accountants, PC started with a vision to provide exceptional service and build lasting relationships based on trust and professionalism. Over the past five decades, the firm has grown from 3 employees to 20 Full and Part-time employees, a team of dedicated professionals, serving clients across diverse industries.

2023 Connecticut Sales Tax Holiday

Connecticut's 23rd Sales Tax Free Week begins on Sunday, August 20 and runs through Saturday, August 26, 2023.

During this week, most purchases of clothing and footwear for less than $100 per item are exempt from sales tax. A purchase is considered as made during the week if payment is made during the week, even if delivery occurs later, and includes purchases in retail stores, online, or by telephone or mail order.

“Clothing and footwear” includes work uniforms (rented or purchased), Scout uniforms, hats and caps, swimsuits, and formal wear rentals, but not jewelry, handbags, specialized dance or sports shoes, sports uniforms and helmets, goggles, or roller skates.

An item’s cost is determined after all discounts, coupons, etc., are applied by the retailer.
