If you are paid $600 or more through PayPal, Venmo, Cash App or similar your income will be reported to the IRS. You will also need to report it on your business or personal income tax returns. We've been doing tax returns for about 40 years now and will help you here.

For 2022 federal tax returns we are no longer allowed to deduct for charitable donations unless we itemize deductions. In Arizona we could get tax credits for donations to certain charities that qualify. You could Google to see which charities qualify.

Solar tax credits are now 30% again for 2022 through 2032 on your federal income tax returns. You need to have a tax liability to qualify. Some of our clients did not realize that this was a requirement.
