Credits and deductions are not doing the same job on your tax return, so I broke it down plain in the video. A deduction lowers the income you’re being taxed on.

A credit lowers the actual tax you owe.

If you use Microsoft for your business, check your account security! My account was hacked and they changed my email AND password, so I had no access. Thankfully GoDaddy was able to log me out of all devices and help me reset everything. Change your password and turn on two-step verification if you haven’t already. Getting locked out of your business email is NOT the headache you want. 😩
