A little history about me.......
Hello, my name is Cindy Brooke, owner of Heartland Taxes & More in Great Bend, Kansas. I have been working in the tax preparation business for many years. My passion for helping others with their income taxes began when I was 21 years old. I became certified through the IRS in their Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and Tax Counseling for the Elderly programs and ha
ve volunteered over the years in that aspect. Through the years, I have held career job positions and still found myself working part time in tax preparation businesses during tax time. I would joke with my clients that it was my "fun job" which seriously made them wonder about me and my other job I am sure! I moved to Great Bend in 2002 and worked in a tax preparation business for a few years. In 2007, I made the decision to operate my own business and began the process of becoming a certified e-file provider with the IRS. Since 2008, I have been preparing client's income taxes in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere at affordable, reasonable rates. I am sincerely grateful for the loyalty of my clients and their many referrals over the years. It is because of them that my business continues to grow and enables me to continue doing what I love! I look forward to meeting and working with new clients and would be happy to assist you in your tax preparation needs.
