Pay attention to how people respond to your good news, goals, and vision. If you find that they struggle to celebrate your successes and support your aspirations, stop sharing. Most people suffer from heavy cases of limiting beliefs, and they will superimpose those beliefs on you and get mad when you refuse to be constrained by those limits.

Your focus should not be on meeting other people's expectations for your life. Your focus should be on being the best version of yourself and pushing the limits daily. Stop entertaining dwarfed goals and colorless dreams to appease the minimal-minded visions of mediocre people. Your emergency fund should consist of at least 6 months of your monthly expenses. Having an emergency savings is imperative in the case of being laid off, car repair emergencies, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Your money should also be saved in high yield savings accounts, and other investment vehicles.
