Five years ago today, I began a journey that changed my life.
After spending more than 20 years in the nonprofit world—a career that I truly loved and one that shaped who I am—I never imagined I would find a second career that could be just as meaningful. Yet somehow, it has become even more rewarding than the first.
Today marks my five-year anniversary as a financial advisor with Raymond James, and my heart is filled with gratitude.
I am incredibly thankful to Raymond James for believing in me, investing in me, and surrounding me with people who have encouraged, challenged, mentored, and supported me every step of the way. To each of you who has walked alongside me, believed in me before I believed in myself, answered my endless questions, celebrated the victories, and helped me grow—thank you doesn't seem sufficient!
The greatest blessing of this career isn't found in numbers or portfolios—it's found in people.
Over the last five years, I've had the privilege of helping families who believed retirement was out of reach discover that it was possible. I've celebrated with clients who retired earlier than they ever imagined. I've helped people create plans to pay off debt, gain confidence with their finances, and build lives that once felt unattainable.
Most importantly, I have been entrusted with something far greater than financial plans. My clients have trusted me with their hopes, their fears, their dreams, and some of life's biggest decisions. That is a responsibility I never take lightly, and it is one of the greatest honors of my life.
To everyone who has placed their trust in me—not only with your retirement, but with your lives and your families—thank you. Thank you for allowing me to walk alongside you through life's milestones and for letting me be a small part of your journey.
Here's to the first five years—and, God willing, many more years of serving others, making a difference, and helping people live the lives they've worked so hard to build.
Thank you, Raymond James. Thank you to my incredible clients. And thank You, God, for opening a door I never expected and blessing me far beyond what I could have imagined. I can't wait to see what's next as I continue to help my clients Live Life Well Planned!
