💚TAX TIPS💚

1) Avoid ghost preparers! They are usually ones who prepare your taxes without a Ptin (Preparer Tax Identification Number).

2) Always overlook the entire 1040 form for correct personal info, excemptions and income amount being claimed.

3) Always get a copy of your tax return no exceptions!

Facts: If a ghost preparer prepares your taxes incorrectly/fraudulently it falls back on you! They usually do this as if the taxes are being self prepared. This way it looks like you are the one committing the crime, meanwhile they have their fee and gone. Some people are innocent in these situations and some go along. Don't fall victim to the ghost preparers!

Please check your mailboxes and verify ASAP to prevent any further delay in refunds! Please follow the instructions in the letter to verify who you are!

They’re sending these letters to ALOT OF RANDOM PEOPLE!

So again, check your mailboxes and send out what they are requesting ASAP!!

TAX TIP 101: 🗣️🗣️

Please make sure the person that's doing your taxes is LICENSED. It’s ILLEGAL for a person to charge you to do your taxes and they use Turbo Tax or any other “free” software when doing your taxes..... This is how people steal your information.
I’ve had a few clients whose taxes have been messed up from allowing “Companies” to do their taxes. If you get your tax return back and it looks like the top picture, then you were ILLEGALLY charged. Your return should look like the bottom photo. Stop looking for "Cheap" alternatives...... Waiting 11 months to get your return because of identity issues is no fun..... Trust me I went through it years ago.
