The 2022 filing season is almost over. For anyone still needing to complete their tax returns, the deadline is October 15 for returns under valid extension. Always remember that an extension only applies to filing the return after April's deadline and not paying and taxes due, so late filers can be subject to penalties and interest. If a refund is due, then no penalty will be assessed.

Also, there are only 87 days left in 2022, when another tax season will be upon us. Are you prepared? Getting organized before year end isn't difficult, but it requires commitment, consistency, and complete and accurate records.
