It's your money!

With gas prices on the rise, increasing your vehicle's fuel efficiency is the only thing you can control. Here are a few simple steps you can take:

* Keep up with your car's recommended maintenance schedule.
* Check to see your that tires are properly inflated.
* Don't idle your engine.
* Empty your car. Remove anything you do not need to minimize the weight your car is hauling.
* Using cruise control when possible can save on gas consumption.
* Drive smoothly! Avoid sudden starts or stops.

"General refund processing times during filing season if you file after January 26, 2026:
4 weeks or more after you file electronically;
At least 12 weeks after you mail your return;
15 weeks or more for additional processing requirements or paper returns sent by certified mail."
