On a more serious note, your family will love you all the same if you don’t get them extravagant gifts for Christmas. I try to focus on making memories instead of buying items. Especially with kids, your gifts are likely to end up in next years garage sale.

Make a meal plan, this will save you so much money! I do this every week. I go grocery shopping every Saturday. So come Friday or Saturday morning, I’m already writing down what I have in the pantry, fridge and freezer that I would like to make the upcoming week. This way you are eating through what you already have. This helps to avoid things going bad and money wasted.
