Tax season is officially underway, and the IRS has begun accepting returns as of last week. With high volume this early in the season, processing times may vary.

Please note: refunds that include Earned Income Credit (EIC) or Child Tax Credit (CTC) are federally held until late February or early March, regardless of filing date. This is normal and required by law.

At Getter Tax, our focus is accuracy, compliance, and making sure your return is done right the first time. If you’ve already filed, tracking tools should begin updating over the next couple of weeks. If you haven’t scheduled yet, both in-person and virtual appointments are available.
