Another reason to be thankful! If you have federal student loans…the freeze to the student loan repayment has been extended…

What does that mean to you? At this moment you do not have to make a payment in January. This freeze is expected to be in effect until March, but possibly June 2023!

The Biden administration is yet again extending the pause on federal student loan payments, a benefit that began in March 2020 to help people who were struggling financially due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

‼️If you have federal student loans I highly encourage you to apply for the loan forgiveness! The process is easy and quick! Also, see if your employer qualifies for one of the student loan forgiveness programs!

Tip: if you are disputing inaccuracies on your report with the credit bureaus make sure you include a copy/pic of your identification card (I.e. driver’s license, state issued ID and your proof of address (I.e.light bill, water bill).

In addition, reviewing your credit report regularly can help you to ensure that the information the credit reporting companies share with lenders is accurate and up-to-date. With identity theft on a rise, I’d recommend checking your credit at least monthly.
