IMPORTANT REMINDERS

Do not share your Social Security Number (SSN), bank information, or personal details

Be cautious of anyone promising very large tax refunds

The IRS usually contacts taxpayers by mail, not by phone or text

Do not allow anyone to file your taxes without clearly explaining everything

Make sure your full refund is deposited into your own bank account

Always ask for a copy of your tax return

I saw people providing missinformation on No Tax on Tips.
It's a Deduction, Not an Exemption: Tips are still considered taxable income and must be reported to employers. The new law allows eligible workers to deduct up to $25,000 of that reported tip income from their federal taxable income when filing their annual tax returns.

A tax exemption excludes certain types of income or specific amounts of income from being taxed altogether.

A tax deduction is an expense you can subtract from your total (gross) income to arrive at your taxable income.
