🔍✨ Considering the right tax status for your business? Let's talk about the "why" behind choosing an S Corp! 🤔💼

When filing as a sole proprietor or partnership, your business shells out a hefty 15.3% in self-employment tax on all net profit – like, who needs that? 😫💸

But here's the game-changer: opt for S-Corp status! 🚀✨ No more 15.3% tax on the entire net profit. Instead, the net profit is passed to shareholders, and guess what? Only the salary of the shareholder faces the self-employed tax. 💡💰

For example: Imagine your net profit is $150K. If you stay as a sole proprietor, your self-employment tax on that $150K net profit is $22,950... 😱

But, choose S-Corp, set your salary at $70,000, and voila! Your self-employment tax drops to $10,710, saving you a sweet $12,240! 🌟💵
