Good morning one and all. Brian here enjoying the last bit of cool weather we will probably have until the fall.

FIRST and foremost, all of us want to thank each and every client for your continued trust and support of our business. It is only because of your continued support that we continue to thrive.

SECOND, there seems to be an issue at the IRS and many clients across the nation, even those who are not in line for a refund, are receiving such a letter.

So, if you receive a letter as the one we are attaching, feel free to contact us and we will try to offer some guidance. More often than not it is due to a person owing and the IRS refunding any penalty that might have been included and paid.

Finally, we are always available to talk or to meet. As most of you know, we mostly work from home during the off season and we are not at the office as frequently. Please call us at 270-957-8967 if you need to speak with us and leave a message. We will contact you as soon as possible.

IRS announces special Saturday hours at Taxpayer Assistance Centers nationwide April 11 and April 25

IR-2026-50, April 10, 2026

WASHINGTON — The Internal Revenue Service announced special Saturday hours at select Taxpayer Assistance Centers across the country to provide in-person help for taxpayers. The upcoming Saturday hours will be April 11 and April 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

During these special Saturday hours, TACs in dozens of states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico will be open to assist taxpayers with a wide range of services. The IRS encourages taxpayers to visit IRS.gov/SaturdayHours to review participating locations and available services before traveling to an office. The IRS will continue to offer these special events through June. Taxpayers can receive help with most services routinely offered at a TAC. Cash payments, however, are not accepted.

In addition to special Saturday hours, over 200 IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers nationwide continue to offer extended weekday office hours to provide additional support during the filing season. The extended office hours will run through Thursday, April 30. To see if a nearby TAC is offering extended hours, taxpayers can visit IRS.gov and use the Contact Your Local Office tool to access the TAC Locator. The site lists the services offered, including extended hours, and provides directions to each office.

Hello one and all, Brian here.

As we approach the conclusion of the 2025 tax season, please be advised that our final day for document drop-offs will be Thursday, April 9th at 3:00 PM.

We currently have three appointment openings available on the morning of Monday, April 13th at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:00 AM. We also have two remaining appointments on Tuesday, April 14th at 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM. These will be our last face-to-face appointments for the 2025 tax season.

If you are a returning client and have any scheduling conflicts or special circumstances, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Please note that we will not be preparing or completing any tax returns on April 15th. That day will be reserved exclusively for the pickup of completed returns.

Our hours for the week of Monday, April 6th will be from 8-5.

April 13th and 14th, 8-4. April 15th 8-12.

Scams are a way of life here in the USA. Arm yourself with knowledge and if you receive a call from the IRS, unless you started the call, it is likely a scam.

If you receive a letter or email, be very careful. Most of the time it is a scam.

You can always reach out to us and we will do our best to assist. But the best way to protect yourself and your family is establish an IRS Security PIN and create an IRS online account.

The IRS released its 2026 "Dirty Dozen" tax scams list to protect taxpayers from identity theft, phishing emails, fake charities and AI-powered phone fraud schemes.

Brian here on this cold winters day.

Couple of things; we sincerely appreciate your business and patience this year as we are getting adjusted to our new location, new tax laws, and the different flow each tax year brings.

We also continue to encourage our clients to pay any owed taxes through us and our software or on line due to many issues with tax agencies and checks.

USPS Postmark Delays

Due to federal government changes, postmarks may no longer reflect the date you drop off your mail at your local post office. Taxpayers should file electronically, request a manual postmark at the post office counter, or mail early.

Just a quick update on our operations. If you are dropping off or using our portal we have about a 4 day turn around at this time.

The main reasons is, we have certain returns that MUST be completed and submitted by March 15th and we are just now getting that information from those clients.
