The announced Monday, January 26, 2026, as the opening of the nation’s 2026 filing season. You will have until Wednesday, April 15, 2026, to file your 2025 tax returns and pay any tax due. Don’t forget that IRS.gov has online tools and resources you can use before, during and after filing your federal tax return. $120 for individual (single)
$140 for married couples
$50 for dependent or student
$50 additional fee for self employed filing of Sch C
$20 for additional states over 2

All filings include Federal and state(s) return, efile (if eligible), complete copy of return, and all documentation returned to client. Mid-year tax planning available for those clients with change in status, dependents, or income.

If you owe taxes and can't pay the balance by the deadline, make sure to file your return on time and pay as much as you can. Filing on time will help you avoid additional penalties from piling up. An reminder: An extension of time to file is not an extension of time to pay.

I will start processing 2023 returns on 2/5/2024. If you are using the upload feature within the software, please upload as one document (all pages together) to avoid lengthy download issues on my end as it goes through security.

If you would like to use the upload feature within the software, please let me know and I can send you a link. You create a login and password to submit your documents and I can upload all your returns back to you.

Please use the intake form for assistance in gathering documents and sign for my records when submitting your documents.

If you are an existing client and still plan on having me prepare your tax return this year, I need your paperwork no later than 4/1/23 or an extension will have to be filed. There is an additional fee involved as well. Thank you.
