A Texas federal court has issued a nationwide injunction blocking the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) and its implementing regulations.

Judge Amos L. Mazzant III ruled that the CTA, which requires U.S. businesses to report stakeholder information to the Treasury Department, exceeds Congress's constitutional authority under the Commerce Clause.
