IRS has announced official opening date! January 26th!

The announced Monday, January 26, 2026, as the opening of the nation’s 2026 filing season. You will have until Wednesday, April 15, 2026, to file your 2025 tax returns and pay any tax due. Don’t forget that IRS.gov has online tools and resources you can use before, during and after filing your federal tax return. We hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season! We will be open on Friday, January 2nd, starting at 9am. We will be closed for the weekend, January 3rd and January 4th. We are sad to announce the passing of John Berdeguer who worked with us preparing taxes for 35 years. He will be always be remembered and in our thoughts; and we want to express deepest condolences to his family, his wife Carmen, and daughters Joy and Bianca. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and as a musician who played the congas and all around good hearted person. We will miss you John!

Income tax office, located in Hicksville, NY needs seasonal help (FT/PT) for clerical/data entry. Applicants must be computer literate. Knowledge of accounting is helpful for data entry position. General office skills such as answering phones, scanning documents, and excellent customer service skills are a MUST.
Any prior experience in Drake Software is a major plus!
Fluency in Spanish a plus!
(Seasonal is typically from January to April)
