Now is the time of year to look at all of the blessings in your life - friends, family, events and circumstances. Be truly thankful. Don’t take life or anything in it for granted because it can disappear in the blink of an eye. Who would have thought we would ever be in the midst of a pandemic and that it would still be with us and affecting our day-to-day living? All of this sounds very cliché, but is also very true. Look deep and count all of the wonderful things in your life; you may surprise yourself at how numerous and varied they are.
As the end of 2021 nears, it is also time to start gathering everything together for tax season. It will be here before you know it.
Make sure you keep all notices from the IRS, Ohio or other tax entities…after you have opened and read them.
Anyone receiving advance child tax credit will be receiving a letter from the IRS with the amount paid this year.
Don’t forget that stimulus money paid earlier this year.
This year will be even more challenging than last year when it comes to your taxes. There are many changes already and Congress isn’t done yet.
If you haven’t already done so, you need to take 5 minutes and establish you personal account at the IRS. There will be a lot of helpful information there. Go to www.irs.gov and go to “view your account “. It will walk you through how to setup your account. Each person, married or not, should set up their individual account.
If you’ve made it through to this part of the post, I thank you and hope you find something of interest to you.
All my best to all of you. Be safe and I hope you have a happy and joyful Thanksgiving and many blessings throughout the holiday season. If you are one of my clients, I look forward to seeing you soon!
