I wasn't going to say anything... But somebody has to. Why not me
With tens of thousands of people losing jobs overnight right now {Spirit Airline}... Its breathtaking even just to watch.
Can you imagine waking up without a job without warning ⚠️ and due to no fault of your own?
They were marketing May flights in my inbox just yesterday!
Y'all, Ive been fired.
But it was always my fault.
I've even woke up and decided to quit and never showed up again.
Yes, I quit without a plan for the next phase. Definitely not my finest hour.
But it was my choice.
That was back when I used to put my financial safety in the government, banks, and my mom...
Y'all, I can not imagine the gut punch that was felt this morning.
However, I do have plenty experience in starting over. With and without a plan.
I did it so much I had a whole process.
Just do a survey and inventory of my current reality, next steps, assets, and opportunities.
I was a single parent each time. Often living in different states. {Illinois, Indiana, South Carolina, Missouri}
The last time is when I was 34 and recently divorced.
15 years later, my husband and I are working on a claim form for our 12,500 Spirit Airlines points. But really unbothered.
Who knows what the outcome will be..
But once again, I find myself going through the same steps. Inventory and survey of assets. This time with my husband.
But because we have built everything on top of our Wealth Protection foundation, the survey and inventory process isn't scary.
