For those of you getting IRS letters saying “we couldn’t deposit your 2025 refund” it’s because you may have opted to receive a paper check and the IRS is leaning away from paper checks !! Or, the information they have is incomplete or incorrect.

You have two options - you can go to IRS.gov/Account and update your banking information or scan the QR code.

If you still do not want direct deposit, you will need to contact them for other options at 866-325-4066

Check and manage your tax information with an IRS account. For personal and business taxes and tax professionals.

Tax season update!!! I am officially out of available appointments!! I am totally booked non stop though April 15th !!

A couple of notes to take into the start of tax season!

1) Effective this year, the IRS will no longer send out paper checks! You must provide active and accurate checking/savings information to process your tax return going forward.

2) For the OT tax credit. For 2025, most employers will not have the amount on your W2.
A) if it is, it will be in box 12, identification will be
With a TT
B ) If it is not, you can use the overtime amount
Listed on your year end pay stub. You will
need to include that with your W2 as proof

Starting 2026, the W2’s will be updated to include the amount in the proper location of the document!

Reminder *** If you have filed for a tax extension, the deadline is quickly approaching!! The deadline is October 15th for personal taxes and the IRS has been implementing a fine for late filings!!

Just a gentle reminder to those of you who have filed for 2024 income tax extension. For business taxes you have until September 15th. For personal taxes you have until October 15th. Please don’t wait until the last minute.

For those of you that have 2024 Income Tax extensions with me, I will be out of town from June 20 through July 15.

Business/Corporation income taxes are due by September 15, 2025

Personal/Self Employment taxes are due by October 15, 2025

I will not have consistent email or text access while I’m away.
