If you have an LLC, the December 31 deadline to file this is approaching. Even if you closed or your LLC is in active, you must still file the BOI Report to prevent the $500 per day penalty.

The IRS usually closes the e-filing system the third week of November and it remains closed until the third week of January. You can still file but must mail your return for processing.

October 15 is the Deadline for filing your Returns; however, due to Hurricane Francine, the deadline has been extended until Feb. 3. Just remember that e-filing closes around the end of November. If you owe, you want to file as soon as possible because interest will be calculated all the way back to April 15, 2024. This is an extension to FILE, not PAY.

If you have an LLC, even if it is not active, you are required to file the BOI (Beneficial Owners Information) Report by Dec. 31.

Due to Hurricane Francine, IRS extends the October 15 deadline to Feb. 3, 2025. Just a reminder, the E-File System usually closes around the end of November. Also, Interest & Penalties will be calculated back to April 15 if you owe a balance.
