In Arizona, 34.1% of Black households are married-couple households, followed by Washington at 32.7% and Florida at 31.8%.

This ranking compares states with at least 100,000 Black households. The percentages show the share of Black households made up of married couples, not the percentage of Black adults who are married.

“Black households” refers to households with a Black householder. A spouse may be any race.
