One thing I always tell taxpayers:

Don’t just sign your tax return without reviewing it.

Every year, we see people come in after tax season with returns that were filed incorrectly, and sometimes they don’t even know who prepared them.

Before you sign your 1040, check:
✅ Who prepared your return
✅ Their PTIN number
✅ That the information filed is accurate

Remember: your tax preparer plays an important role, but your signature also matters.

Take a few minutes to understand what you’re signing. It can save you from bigger problems later👌📄

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear from business owners:

“Why do I have to pay Sales Tax if I already paid the IRS?”

The answer: they are two completely different things.
Your IRS taxes are based on your business profit.

Sales Tax is money you collect from your customers on behalf of the state.

That money is not business income, and it should not be treated like it is.

My advice? Keep your Sales Tax separate, plan ahead, and make sure you know when and how much you need to pay.

Understanding your numbers isn't just about taxes, it's about protecting your business💼🛡️.
