The average tax preparer charges around $200 per return. Some charge way more.

So say you do just 5 returns a week — that’s $1,000 a week.

Tax season runs about 12 to 16 weeks. That’s $12,000 to $16,000 in ONE season… working part-time, from your house, in your bonnet if you want to.
