I recently prepared a chapter 13 petition for someone and they had their first scheduled meeting of the creditors this past week. It ultimately ended up getting rescheduled due to some identification photocopying error, but they did have an opportunity to ask about their petition preparer. This isn't the first time I have been told this exact same thing lol. In my defense, I'm only 8 months out from being a lawyer, so there's that lol.
