Always having a passion for problem solving and a desire to help others, Joye decided at a very early age that she wished to be an accountant. After graduating with an accounting degree from Loyola College in 1998, she desired to learn more about accounting business worldwide and obtained her Master’s Degree in International Finance from the University of Baltimore in 2005. Joye also had a desire to be an asset to her country and served in the United States Air Force, as both an active and reserve member for many years. She attributes the discipline and loyalty that she gleaned from her experiences with the US Air Force, to that of her work ethics that she applies with each and every one of her clients. Building her firm, Premier Group, from the ground up since 2005 she has expanded her firm from one staff member to now include five staff members. Although Joye is a native of Philadelphia, she has assisted firms nationally to achieve their financial goals. Joye currently resides in Laurel, MD but continues to travel far and wide to assist both small non-profits and larger corporations with all their accounting needs. The mission of Joye’s accounting firm is to offer both individuals and businesses personalized accounting and financial management services in order to reach their success. I had the opportunity to attend Session 2: Opportunity: Procure Connect during the Federal Reserve System 2026 Fall Procurement Series in Washington, D.C.

It was a great opportunity to network with procurement leaders, contracting officers, and program managers while gaining insight into the Fed's priorities around modernization, data & AI, governance, and mission support.

The discussions reinforced the importance of building strong partnerships and understanding mission needs to create long-term value. I appreciate everyone who shared their time and expertise.
