On Monday, our team stepped out of the office and onto the field for our annual off-site firm meeting, this year at Progressive Field, the home of the Cleveland Guardians.
We began the day hearing from our longest-tenured employees, Matt, Laura, and Maria, who are all celebrating 20 years at Fairway this year. It was great hearing about the early days of the firm and reflecting on how much has changed over the years.
Mark then shared a “State of the Firm” update, highlighting the growth we’ve experienced over the past three years (both in clients served and team expansion), as well as a vision for where we want to go in the next three years and beyond. Throughout the afternoon, team leaders provided updates on the work and initiatives happening across the firm. It was exciting to see the progress and changes that have taken place since last year’s meeting.
We wrapped up the day hearing from two current clients and former executives of the Cleveland Guardians. Both shared stories of humble beginnings, hard work, and leadership lessons which helped grow the Guardians organization into what it is today.
After the first pitch, a few special guests made an appearance, Slider, and the Hot Dog Racing mascots! Even better, the Guardians capped off the evening with a win.
