Meet Beck! 🐾

This sweet boy has waited three years too long, and he’s more than ready for his forever home.

Beck recently went on a two-night adventure. He had a play date with Scrappy, one of our adopted pups, and visited Pioneer Days at Fowler Park in Terre Haute. He was excited to explore everything new, and he had zero accidents, even coming straight from boarding.

What to know about Beck:
🐶 About 6 years old, 75 lbs
❤️ Loves kids. He’s met children as young as 4, and on his adventure he liked the kids even more than the adults!
🐕 Dog-friendly with friendly dogs
🚫🐈 Would prefer a home with no cats
🗣️ He’s a talker. He barked at a few men in hats and beards, but he’s never tried to bite anyone. He just needs a minute to warm up. (He adores one of our volunteers’ boyfriends, beard, hat and all!)

🎃 Let the pumpkin wars begin! 🎃

Our team raided the pumpkin patch this weekend, and now the real work starts. A pumpkin carving contest!

At CFG, we believe great work starts with a team that genuinely enjoys being together, and a little friendly competition never hurts.

Starting 10/26, we'll be showing off every creation right here on social media (and in our lobby, if you want to see them up close!). So please vote on who’s your favorite.

Winners will be crowned Friday, October 30th, and yes, there are will prizes. 🏆

🐾 Meet Rucca! Our Shelter Dog Spotlight of the Week! 🐾

We're back with week two of our Adopt a Shelter Dog Month series, and this week we're introducing you to a very special lady! ❤️

👑 Meet Rucca, a queen looking for her forever kingdom!

Born September 17, 2019, Rucca is a beautiful Lab and Great Dane mix with a big personality and plenty of love to give!

This sweet girl is looking for a home where she can be the one and only princess. She loves toys, walks, snuggles, and, of course, being the center of attention!

Rucca walks beautifully on a leash when things are calm, but she can be protective of her person when other dogs or distractions are nearby. She'll do best with someone who understands her needs and can give her the patience, love, and attention she deserves.

🐾 Meet Oatmeal & Raisin! 🐾

October is National Adopt a Shelter Dog Month! This month, CFG is using our social media to help some local pups get a little extra attention and, hopefully, find the families they’ve been waiting for. ❤️

Throughout October, we’ll be introducing you to adoptable dogs in our community and sharing their stories. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, a like or share could help their future family find them!

We’re kicking things off with two adorable 5-month-old sisters, Oatmeal and Raisin! 🐶🐶 While these girls are sisters, they are not bonded and can be adopted separately—each is looking for a family to call her own.

Oatmeal and Raisin can be a little shy at first, but give them some time and they warm up quickly. Once they’re comfortable, get ready for plenty of puppy kisses! 😘

They love toys, playing, and spending time outdoors. They’re already crate trained and do great with dogs of all sizes, kids, and cats!

Happy Workiversary, Brian! 🎉

Brian has officially been with CFG for 9 years! As one of our advisors, he’s not only an important part of our team but also a light in our office.

When asked what he loves most about working at CFG, Brian shared that it’s the incredible team, the work we do for our clients, and most importantly, the relationships he’s built with those clients over the years. He says he sees himself as the “captain of their retirement team,” with the #1 goal of helping make their retirement the best it can possibly be.
