IRS has announced the start of e-filing for the coming tax season as January 26th.
Typically the IRS opens up e-file approximately 1 week prior to the official start date for testing their systems. The tentative dates for these testing periods are January 14th - 16th and January 20th - 23rd.
We we will keep you posted on this as more info becomes available, but as of now, plan for the IRS to start processing returns towards the end of next week!
