"Excellent tax planning services! If you are tired of paying high taxes, start planning! You're in great hands with, White Wolf CPA." — Rosie

Excellent tax planning isn't something that happens by accident. It's the result of starting early, asking the right questions, and putting a real strategy in place before the deadlines start piling up.

ABC7's I-Team was given rare access inside the IRS Criminal Investigation lab in Chicago, the only facility of its kind in the country, where technicians lift fingerprints from paper, examine forged signatures, and reconstruct shredded documents. Agency leadership described how financial crime has moved from the Capone era to cryptocurrency, deepfakes, and AI voice bots — same threats, new environment, far greater speed and scale. But the core mission hasn't changed in a century: follow the money, because the money trail does not lie. That's the same principle behind every fraud examination and audit defense we handle. Documentation is the plan.

Have you seen the posts claiming the rich “donate to themselves” and pay zero tax? Do you wonder how much of that is real and how much is a fast track to an audit? And what would it actually take to use a foundation the right way?

Here’s the honest version. Private family foundations are real and legal: you get a deduction for what you give, the foundation only has to distribute about 5% a year, and family can be paid to manage it. But the viral framing — “redirect money from the IRS to your kids,” “just change the account name,” “you never give up the money” — describes self-dealing, and the IRS penalizes exactly that under Section 4941. Once assets go into a foundation, they’re dedicated to charity for good. You control them; you don’t own them.

The tool is powerful. The internet’s version of it is an audit waiting to happen. The difference is real services, reasonable pay, documentation, and picking the right vehicle for your actual numbers — sometimes that’s a foundation, often it’s a simpler donor-advised fund.

We build the version that holds up. Call the Wolf. Protect the Pack. www.whitewolfcpa.com

Do you know your real number — what actually lands in your account after taxes and fees?
Do you know where every dollar is going before the check even hits?
Do you know who's actually on your team, protecting what you earn?

Most rookies find out the hard way, after the money's already gone. Here are the 5 steps every high earner needs before that first big check lands: knowing your real take-home, giving every dollar a destination, building the right team, protecting your treasure before you give it away, and knowing the number you're actually building toward.

Save this for the next time a check, bonus, or payout hits your account.

Did you know someone can file a tax return under your business name? Would you even find out before the IRS notice landed? And what if a five-minute setup could put a security camera on your entire federal tax life?

Business identity theft is climbing, and your EIN and entity name are often all it takes — most owners never see it coming until the damage is done. The fix is simpler than the threat: set up your IRS Business Tax Account. You'll see every notice and transcript the day it posts, view balances and payments scheduled up to a year out, pull CP575 EIN verification on demand, and grant access to people you trust. It's available right now for sole props with an EIN, S-corps, C-corps, tax-exempts, government entities, and partners or shareholders with a K-1 on file.

Don't wait for the notice to find out something's wrong. Go to IRS and search "Business Tax Account" this week. Call the Wolf. Protect the Pack.

Is your S-corp quietly paying for dental, vision, and Medicare while you deduct none of it? Do you know the one payroll step that decides whether that deduction lives or dies? And what if fixing it in August is easy but fixing it in December is nearly impossible?

Most self-employed owners leave real money on the table here. Dental, vision, long-term care, and Medicare — Part B, Part D, Advantage, and Medigap — all get the same treatment as medical insurance when you have self-employment income, covering you, your spouse, dependents, and kids under 27. Even better, it's an above-the-line deduction, so it comes off your income whether you itemize or not. But the treatment depends on your structure, and S-corp owners over 2% have a trap: paying personally isn't enough. The corporation has to pay or reimburse you and report it in Box 1 of your W-2 — miss that step and the deduction isn't reduced, it's gone entirely.
Your W-2 gets built from payroll records, which is exactly why this is an August fix, not a December scramble.

"Diana has helped me year after year save money during tax season… Diana guided me to make changes within how my business is registered and also to start paying quarterly instead of annually, which took the headache away and saved me money." — Numana

Proactive tax strategy isn't just about filing correctly. It's about understanding your business, identifying opportunities, and making strategic changes before tax season arrives.

Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed." — Proverbs 15:22

Do you own a business and want a benefit your team actually feels? Have you heard about "Trump accounts" but have no idea how the new rules work? And did you know the owner is often the one person who can't use them personally?

The IRS just proposed regulations on employer contributions to Trump accounts — the new child savings accounts created under OBBBA, seeded with $1,000 from the federal government for eligible kids. The big clarification: employers can contribute to an employee's child's account and up to $2,500 a year is excluded from that employee's income — and that $2,500 is per employee, not per child or per job. The catch for owners: partners, sole proprietors, and 2% S-corp shareholders aren't treated as employees, so you can offer this to your team but generally can't take the tax-favored version for yourself. The most interesting piece is a proposed pretax, salary-reduction option through a cafeteria plan, which the IRS thinks could become the whole point of these accounts. It's still proposed, with a hearing in October — which is exactly why now is the time to understand it. Call the Wolf. Protect the Pack.
