The Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm of Makela, Pollack & Ahonen, PLLC would like to announce a change in the firm name.

The firm will now operate under the name of Ahonen & Tregembo, PLLC, effective June 1st, 2025. The ownership members include Karl (Gus) T. Ahonen and Leann M. Tregembo. Ahonen is a CPA licensed in the State of Michigan and State of Wisconsin and a member of the Michigan Association of CPAs and Wisconsin Institute of CPAs . Tregembo is licensed in the State of Michigan and a member of the Michigan Association of CPAs.

Other current accounting staff members include Timothy J Makela, CPA, Anthony R. Pollack, CPA, Thomas Ahonen and Allison Giannunzio. Joy Ahonen is the firm’s Office Manager. The bookkeeping, payroll and computer training staff include Nicole Hellman and Jill Supercynski-Johnson. Maggie Maki is the firm’s Administrative Assistant.

Full-time or Part-time position. Prior training and/or work experience preparing tax returns using tax preparation software
is required.
Qualified applicants must be detail oriented, proficient with the use of computers, capable of maintaining a high level of confidentiality and be able to efficiently multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Wages based on experience.
